Young Professionals Receive Free ACI Convention Registration

The Women in ACI Committee has selected two young professionals to receive free registration to the upcoming ACI Concrete Convention, March 27 - 31, 2022, in Orlando, FL, USA.

The program is dedicated to sharing the experience of professional and technical collaboration with emerging faces in the concrete industry by offering free registration twice a year to men and women with less than eight years of industry experience.

Below are the Spring 2022 recipients:

• Dulce Trejo, Graduate Engineer, Carrasquillo Associates, LTD, Austin, TX, USA.

• Lisa Marston, Regional Technical Services Engineer, Cortec Corporation, St. Paul, MN, USA.

All registered convention attendees are invited to attend the Women in ACI Reception during the convention on Monday, March 28, from 5:00 – 6:00 pm. This long-standing ACI tradition is a great opportunity to get to know women in the concrete industry.

In addition to networking, convention attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a concrete art auction that features concrete artwork beautifully crafted by students and industry professionals. Proceeds from the auction go towards sponsoring the free convention registration program for young professionals to attend the spring or fall convention.

Applications for the next Young Professional Free Convention Registration Program will be available in the fall for the ACI Concrete Convention in Dallas, TX, USA, October 23 – 27, 2022.
