Chapter Officer Training & Roundtables
Spring Leadership Training
The Chapter Leadership Training is held every spring (usually in May) at ACI headquarters in Farmington Hills, MI. Leadership Training is a 1.5-day event that focuses on breakout sessions to provide chapter officers and Board members with intense training on operational issues such as:
- Membership/Officer Recruitment
- Bylaws/Legal Conduct
- Accounting, Taxation & Administration
- Strategic Planning
Leadership Training is especially beneficial for new officers and Board members and helps build a stronger connection and support between ACI and the chapter.
The chapter may send up to two (2) officers to a roundtable. Partial travel expense reimbursement is available upon request.
A continental breakfast, lunch, and a social outing with ACI staff will be provided.
The ACI Chapter Roundtable is hosted annually during the fall Concrete Convention and Exposition. Roundtables are hosted by the ACI Chapter Activities Department to bring together chapter officers for an opportunity to meet with other chapter leaders from all over the world. Additionally, attendees will meet face-to-face with ACI staff and members of the Chapter Activities Committee.
The purpose of the Chapter Roundtable is to assist in the development of chapter officers, exchange ideas with other chapters, provide updates on ACI’s activities, and improve communication. Chapter officers come away from a roundtable with renewed energy and many good ideas.
The chapter may send up to two (2) officers to a roundtable. Partial travel expense reimbursement is available upon request. Free registration to the ACI convention is offered to first-time convention attendees.
