Chapter Officer Leadership Training & Roundtables

Leadership Training

Chapter Officer Leadership Training is held every spring at ACI headquarters in Farmington Hills, MI. Leadership Training is a 1.5-day event to provide chapter officers with training on operational issues such as:

    • Membership/Officer Recruitment
    • Bylaws/Legal Conduct
    • Accounting, Taxation & Administration
    • Strategic Planning
    • Meetings/Education

Leadership Training is especially beneficial for new officers and Board members and helps build a stronger connection and support between ACI and the chapter.

The chapter may send up to two (2) representatives and ACI will reimburse 50% of travel expenses up to $800 USD per person. A continental breakfast, lunch, and dinner is provided.

Chapter Roundtable

The ACI Chapter Roundtable is hosted bi-annually during the spring & fall Concrete Convention and Exposition. Roundtables provide an opportunity to meet with other chapter leaders from all over the world. Additionally, attendees will meet face-to-face with ACI staff and members of the Chapter Activities Committee.

The purpose of the Chapter Roundtable is to assist in the development of chapter officers, exchange ideas, provide updates on ACI’s activities, and improve communication. Chapter officers come away from a roundtable with renewed energy and many good ideas.

Chapters may send up to two (2) representatives and ACI will provide Roundtable participants with a complimentary convention registration.

Typical Topics:

    • Membership
