Committee Mission: Develop and report information on silica fume in concrete and mortar.
Goals: The revision of the 234 Guide has become the priority. Two revised and balloted chapters (3 and 4)were reviewed, negatives resolved and editorials passed back to the writers. These chapters will be balloted again once the editorials and corrections have been made. Two more chapters (9 and 10) have been drafted and are being assessed by 'secondary' authors prior to ballot. Two earlier balloted chapters (1 and 2) will be sent out for ballot within the month. It is anticipated that a full draft of the revised document should be ready to submit by Denver.
