Covers process technology for preparation of concrete which contains polymers; material properties; fundamental studies; and work performed on development of applications. Methods discussed are monomer impregnation of normal hardened concrete followed by in situ polymerize tion (PIG); mixing with aggregate and polymerizing after placement (PC); and addition of a polymer during mixing of fresh concrete.
