Abstract:
Methods of repair of cracked concrete that have been successfully applied to a damaged reinforced concrete cooling tower are presented. Five types of cracking requiring repair are discussed along with recommendations for repair methods, quality assurance/quality control specification, and procedures to assure repair quality and durability. Conceptual guidance is provided to those involved in the design or construction of concrete crack repairs.
