Abstract:
Precasting operations for the international causeway linking Bahrain and Saudi Arabia were described in an article in the December, 1989, issue of Concrete International, which also contained information on concrete materials, mix proportions, batching, placing, and curing, as well as general details of the project. This article focuses on the erection of the precast elements, and the cast-in-place concreting.
