Abstract: The question is examined whether the embedment of warm water pipes in structural concrete for the purpose of radiant heating (or panel heating as it is sometimes called) would endanger the integrity of the concrete. Some evidence is adduced in support of the tentative view that with reasonable restrictions on the installation, the results would not be too bad.
