Abstract:
Beams, composed of joined near inflection trio of points precast prestressed segments, by key ed scarf connections, tested to failure. Prestressed keys, epoxy-sand mortar cushioning, and high tension bolts used in specially designed scraft connections. Beam behaved in all respects as monolithic prestressed continuous beam.
