Abstract:Presents method for obtaining lower and upper limits to rotational stiffness of flat floor plates at column-slab junction. Method based on elastic theory of iso-. tropic thin plates and accounts for column cross sectional configuration at column-slab interface, and for floor plates’s boundary conditions. Numerical example included to show application of proposed method.
