Abstract:
Presents interim design method based on current practices for determining pavement thickness and amount of reinforcing steel for continuously reinforced concrete pavement. Also gives recommendations for end anchorage systems. Pavement thickness design method based on modificaitons of design equations presented in AASHO interim guide prepared after completion of road tests in Illinois.
