Abstract:
Graphs have been prepared for the design or analysis of singly reinforced beams and one-way slabs using the strength design method. A concrete strength of 3000 psi and a reinforcing steel strength of 60,000 psi has been used. Beams and slabs can be analyzed or designed by using these graphs. Two design examples are included to illustrate the use of the graphs. [Author]
