Abstract:
Shotcrete placement allows flexibility and creativity in a variety of architectural and structural concrete applications. Shotcrete inherently has all the durability of concrete, and allows efficient, more sustainable construction of curved or complex shapes that are difficult and costly to produce with traditional concrete forming and casting methods. The presentation will provide a basic overview of the shotcrete process, including several case studies and more detailed considerations for shotcrete placement of architectural and structural applications.
