Abstract:
Semi-dry concrete is generally defined as having a slump between 10 and 40 mm (S1). Its use is desirable because of high production throughput and it finds application in a wide range of concrete goods. The variety of uses in turn leads to a wide range of potential performance requirements such as durability, flexural strength, density and abrasion resistance. This paper describes the role and performance of PCE products and compares their impact on concrete mix design and performance with other methods.
