Abstract:
In July 2013, the Construction Products Directive 89/106/EEC was partially replaced by the Construction Products Regulation 305/2011, which subsequently took full effect from July 2013 with the withdrawal of the CPD. This paper discusses the development of CE marking arising from the introduction. It includes details of how to assess the requirements for CE Marking and the required actions and documentation needed, and the implications for the future of CE Marking.
