Abstract:
Presented in his paper researches proved high efficiency of CFRP based repairing system. Special attention was given to the behavior of initially cracked beams subjected to torsion, for lack of works on this field. Program of laboratory tests was completed with numerical analyses with the use of 3D FEM model calibrated on own material tests. Computing confirmed previous observations and results varied insignificantly from those obtained from laboratory proves. Numerical analyses provided much wider range of information, allowing further works on analytical description of CFRP strengthened elements.
