Abstract:
The desire to construct pervious concrete pavements has been growing in the past few years for site designers, developers, regulators, and the concrete industry. As this market continues to grow, it is becoming more technologically advanced, but is still missing some of the basic quality control and quality assurance tests. This paper will examine the history, design criteria, and state of testing technology of pervious concrete, and discuss the needs for future research to advance the technology.
