Abstract:
This article presents highlights of the structural analysis and design, as well as the quality and control of materials, in what is considered to be the largest circular concrete plate in the United States. A review of long term deflection control is presented with a view towards resolution of laboratory tests data in lightweight concrete with design and field practice.
