Abstract:
Reinforced concrete has obtained prominence in the construction of retaining walls, in response to the universal demand for economy. So long as it serves the purpose as well as, or better than, other materials, and is as cheap, or cheaper, either in the matter of first cost or maintence,-just so long will it maintain its position.
