Abstract: A mechanical plant for handling concrete varies with the character and extent of the work and the conditions at the site. In this article I am outlining some of the methods used in reinforced concrete buildings, and it should be borned in mind that in work of this class the opportunity for extensive labor-saving devices is not as great as in work where greater masses of concrete are handled.
