Abstract:
The committee presented a report which, after discussion, was modified on the floor to read as follows: A reduction in the number of areas with equivalent sizes of concrete reinforcing bars was recommended by the War Service Committee on Reinforcement to the United States War Industries Board during the summer and fall of 1918, as a conservation measure, which would have been adopted by the Government, had the war continued.
