Abstract:
It is the purpose of this paper to emphasize the importance of correlating problems in design and construction of concrete bridges. The term design should imply, not only an acquired aptitude for determing theoretical shapes, but a somewhat instinctive understanding of the problem in construction. By correlating these interdependent considerations, the full meaning of the term design is realized, and results obtained are in direct proportion.
