Abstract:
The manual presents recommended methods and standards for preparing drawings for the fabrication and placing of reinforcing steel in reinforced con-crete structures. The previous ACI Standards ACI 315-51 (detailing of building structures) and ACI 315A-53 (detailing of highway structures) have been combined into one manual. Typical engineering drawings (and, for buildings, placing drawings as well) illustrate the use of the standards.
