Abstract:
Hydrodemolition uses high-pressure water jets to precisely remove unsound concrete. It enables a very selective removal process, eliminating unnecessary waste. The article discusses benefits of using hydrodemolition in concrete repair and focuses on sustainability aspects of applying this removal technique, including treatment and reuse of slurry water collected from hydrodemolition.
