Abstract:
New structural models and an analytical method for flat plate, slab and beam, and shearwall with flat slab types of reinforced concrete structures during construction have been developed. Their applicability and accuracy are verified by the comparison with both the results of new on-site measurements and the results of existing analytical methods. The new method is integrated into TDSA-2 software, and the influences of major factors during construction are discussed in this paper. The principle of load distribution (transmission) in the three types of structures is obtained and new distribution coefficients of maximum load are recommended. The findings and subsequent software application presented in this paper can be used for further research and for assisting site engineers in selecting better construction scenarios.
