Present ACI 314 Guide to Simplified Design for Reinforced Concrete Buildings as a great tool for engineers to design building structures in an expedited and safe way. It is a Guide that can be executed with a hand held calculator or spreadsheet. It helps you design the structure, including presenting loads, design of different structural members, and construction guidelines.

Learning Objectives:
(1) Discuss available tools and methods from ACI to easily design safe concrete buildings;
(2) Review ways to design building structures in an expedited and safe way;
(3) Report on execution of ACI 314 Guide to Simplified Design for Reinforced Concrete Buildings;
(4) Identify the design loads and design of the different structural members.

This session has been approved by AIA and ICC for 1 PDH (0.1 CEU). Please note: You must attend the live session for the entire duration to receive credit. On-demand sessions do not qualify for PDH/CEU credit.
