Current Convention - Fall 2021
ACI is pleased to be hosting its ACI Concrete Convention in-person, in Atlanta, GA, USA, on October 17-21, 2021. The convention will have a robust schedule that includes traditional in-person activities. Select programming will also be available live or on-demand to attendees who choose to attend virtually. Committee meetings and social events will be limited to in-person attendees. The Student Competition and related student activities will be fully virtual. Full details including a comprehensive schedule are being finalized and will be available soon. ACI will be following the health and safety requirements set by the local, state, and federal governments at the time of the convention.

In-Person Convention Registration
In-person convention registration includes access to all committee meetings, sessions (live and on-demand), special events, and the exhibit hall.
Virtual Technical Session Only Registration
Virtual Technical Sessions registration only includes access to technical sessions (live and on-demand) and select special event content like the Opening Session and Excellence in Concrete Construction Awards. Additionally, the following student activities will take place virtually: Student Competition, Student Networking Event, Student Forum, and Student Lunch. Note: Committee meetings are not included with virtual technical sessions and are only available to in-person attendees.
To register a guest, you must add the guest to the attendee online registration form. The guest registration fee includes daily breakfast Sunday-Wednesday and attendance at the Opening Reception, Concrete Mixer, and President’s Reception. Guest registration does NOT include access to any other convention activities.
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to email@example.com. You may receive a full refund through 9/12/21. After 9/12/21, there will be a $100 service charge for attendee registrations and $10 service charge for guest registrations. No refunds will be made after 10/15/21. There are no refunds for special event/tour tickets after the registration has been processed.
It is the policy of the American Concrete Institute (ACI) that all participants in ACI and its subsidiaries' activities and events will enjoy an environment free from all forms of harassment and retaliation. Harassment, sexual or otherwise, is a form of misconduct that undermines the integrity of ACI activities and events and violators of this policy will be subject to discipline. Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
ACI conventions are ADA-compliant. Individuals requiring special assistance must contact ACI Event Services for further information. All requests for special accommodations under ADA are handled on a case-by-case basis and must be made allowing enough time for evaluation and appropriate action by ACI.
ACI will take photographs and video during the ACI Concrete Convention and reproduce them in ACI educational, news, or promotional material—whether in print, electronic, or other media—including the ACI website. By participating in the ACI Concrete Convention, you grant ACI the right to use your name, photograph, and biography for such purposes.
All convention participants are reminded that audio recording, video recording, and photography is strictly prohibited during all committee meetings and sessions.
Responsible Drinking Policy
Alcohol will not be served to anyone under the age of 21. All ACI-sponsored receptions and events will offer nonalcoholic beverages.
Health & Safety Requirements
ACI will be following the health and safety requirements set by the local, state, and federal governments at the time of the convention. Currently, masks and social distancing are not required, but are recommended for those who are unvaccinated. Masks are still required in government buildings and on public transportation, including the airport. Meeting rooms at the Hilton Atlanta will be set to normal convention capacities. Note: The Georgia Aquarium—the location of the Concrete Mixer—does require masks for all attendees when not eating/drinking.
ACI Event Platform & Mobile App
ACI is using CrowdCompass as the event platform and mobile app for the ACI Concrete Convention. All attendees will use this platform (or the mobile version) to access the virtual sessions and on-demand content. You must be a registered convention attendee in order to access the event platform. The event platform/mobile app will be available in early October.
How to Access On-Demand Content
All on-demand content is available in the convention event platform. To view on-demand recordings in the event platform, click on "On-Demand Content" in the left sidebar. From there, find the session or event you wish to view on-demand and click into the listing. Once in the listing, you will see the on-demand video and can view it straight from the event platform. On-demand content can be viewed in either the web-based version of the event platform or through the mobile app version.
