Committee Mission: Develop and report information on the material science basis of concrete technology.

Goals: 1) Develop sessions to increase awareness of material science research for concrete; 2) Develop an article series in CI; 3) Develop resources related to cement-based materials characterization, through Task Group 1, Advanced Analysis Techniques for Concrete; 4) Develop technical resources that describe the range of materials modeling and simulation tools applicable to concrete.
