YEAR ESTABLISHED: 1987 GEOGRAPHIC BOUNDARIES: The Entire State of ArgentinaOUTSTANDING AWARDS: 1992, 1997 The purpose of the Association is (i) to promote the technical regulations and other publications, as well as the activities of the American Concrete Institute, a non-profit association incorporated in the state of Michigan, United States of America ("ACI"); (ii) to promote education, technical practice and scientific research by organizing the efforts of its members to provide non-profit services through the collection, collation and dissemination of information for the improvement of the design, construction, manufacture, use, maintenance and repair of concrete products and structures, all exclusively for educational and scientific purposes; and (iii) to do all such acts as may be necessary to achieve the objects of the Association. The activities of the Association shall extend throughout the territory of the Argentine Republic. MEETINGS/EDUCATIONAL/SOCIAL EVENTS: Educational Meetings held annually STUDENT CHAPTERS SPONSORED: Facultad de Ingeniería de la Universidad de Buenos Aires.
