2-Night Review Course (Registration for Class Only)

Course Scope
Prepare students for the ACI Certification Exam covering the following ASTM Standard Test Methods:
C 1064-17 Temperature of Freshly Mixed Portland-Cement Concrete
C 172-17 Sampling Freshly Mixed Concrete
C 143-15 Slump of Hydraulic Cement Concrete
C 138-17 Unit Weight, Yield, And Air Content of Concrete
C 231-17 Air Content of Freshly Mixed Concrete by Pressure Method
C 173-16 Air Content of Freshly Mixed Concrete by Volumetric Method
C 31-19 Making and Curing Concrete Test Specimens in the Field

Course Outline
1st Night (University of New Orleans)
• Introduction and distribution of study manual CP-1(40th edition ) and class handouts
• View and discuss videotape demonstrating procedures for performing field tests
• Discuss study questions and test taking techniques

2nd Night (Carlo Ditta, Inc.)
• Demonstration of field tests and hands on practice

Registration/payment deadline is one week prior to class date.

Class size will be limited to a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 20. If minimum size is not reached, class will be cancelled and all fees, if collected, will be refunded. Cancellation Policy: you must cancel 4 days prior to class to receive a 100% refund there after full fee will be forfeited. This class is not mandatory and is independent of aci International & the aci Louisiana Chapter.
