The Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, NJ, USA, recently underwent a major renovation, including the addition of a new structure—Rubenstein Commons. Designed more like a passage than a building, the undulating structure is composed of precast concrete panels and prismatic glass with varying curving roof levels as well as curving walls.
