Get Involved – Certification
Playing a role in the administration and/or oversight of ACI Certification programs provides invaluable experience, professional connections, and a way to give back to the concrete industry. ACI manages all certification programs including grading exams and issuance of credentials, ACI’s network of sponsoring groups is responsible for the administration of examinations (written and performance) and training, and ACI Certification Committees provide oversight.
Local/Regional Participation
ACI Certification programs are a partnership between ACI and a network of sponsoring groups. ACI Sponsoring Groups are the entities responsible for administering certification exams and often in-person related training/exam preparation. Playing a role in helping a sponsoring group administer exams provides invaluable experience, professional connections, and a way to give back to the concrete industry.
Volunteers from the local area surrounding a sponsoring group fill the roles required to administer ACI certification exams including examiners, supplemental examiners, proctors, joining the group’s certification committee, and many other positions within the local organization.
The first step to getting involved on a local level is to contact the ACI Sponsoring Group in your area.
