Description

The scope of this guide is to solve a lack of uniformity in the appearance criteria of concrete surfaces and to provide a comprehensive guidance and understanding to its production and evaluation. The new guide defines the formed concrete surfaces based on a set of uniformly comparable characteristics such as texture, color, porosity, construction and facing joints, surface irregularities and form-facing. Detailed guidelines are given on the basis of four levels of quality called “Concrete Surface Categories (CSC)”. These are based on the visibility of the completed surface as well as the importance of its visual appearance.

Recorded webinar from October 7, 2014.

Presented by: Rolf Spahr, Sales Director MEVA Schalungs-Systeme GmbH, Germany
