Committee Mission: Produce design guide(s) to develop and deploy concrete made with saline water.
Goals: 1. Development of performance-based specifications for concrete made with saline water focusing on durability indicators. 2. Development of a design guide for concrete mixtures made with seawater . 3. Development of a design guide for concrete mixtures made with seawater and non-traditional aggregates. 4. Development of a design guide for concrete mixtures made with saline water obtained from naturally and not-naturally occurring saltwater sources including brackish, produced and brine waters.
