Description:
A Certified Post-Installed Concrete Anchor Installation Inspector is an individual who has demonstrated the knowledge to inspect the installation of post-installed adhesive and mechanical anchors and concrete screws, in concrete. The Inspector must understand the responsibilities and qualification requirements of the Installer, the inspection requirements as cited in the documents governing the construction of the project, and the process governing the qualification of anchor systems.

What to Expect:

Review: Three hour review
Lunch break
Written exams: Two-part exam: Part 1 - Installation and Part 2 - Inspection.
In Part 1, the forty-five-minute Installation written examination is closed-book, consists of 45 multiple-choice questions, and requires a minimum passing score of 74%.
In Part 2, the two-hour Inspection written examination is open-book, consists of 90 multiple-choice questions, and requires a minimum passing score of 60% on each subsection, PLUS a 70% overall exam score.

Note: Certification is valid for a period of five years from the date of successfully completing all requirements. Self-study is critical to your success in earning this certification.
