This review seminar covers topics pertaining to decorative concrete: safety, subgrade/base requirements, formwork, coloring, stamping, exposed finishes, stairs, and cleaning/sealing applications. The ACI Decorative Concrete Flatwork Finisher and Associate certification program is designed to provide a credential to concrete finishers who possess a command of essential knowledge specific to those working in the decorative concrete industry.
IMPORTANT: Separate registration & fees needed for review seminar [MO405] Monday 1:00PM – 5:00PM and written exam [TUDCW] Tuesday 1:00PM – 3:00PM.
PREREQUISITE: Attendees are required to be a certified ACI Concrete Flatwork Associate or ACI Advanced Concrete Flatwork Finisher to participate in this examination.

The closed-book, two-hour written examination consists of approximately 50 multiple-choice questions and is based on specific points of knowledge included in ACI’s online Job Task Analysis for the decorative concrete flatwork finisher. Technical reference material CSS-5(16) and digital download of CP-12 are included with TUDCW written exam registration.
Participants who are currently certified as an ACI Concrete Flatwork Associate and score 70% or above will receive the Decorative Concrete Flatwork Associate certification. Participants who are ACI Advanced Concrete Flatwork Finisher certified and score 70% or above, and possess 1,500 hours of on-the-job placing and finishing work experience, including minimum of 250 hours in EACH of the following areas of decorative concrete flatwork placing and finishing: coloring, stamping, exposed finishes, and stairs; and a minimum of 40 hours in cleaning and sealing, will receive the Decorative Concrete Flatwork Finisher certification.
* Reference materials mailed to domestic addresses when attendee registers a minimum of two weeks prior to the show. Examinees from outside the United States can pay separately to have a reference package shipped or arrange to pick one up onsite at the show.
CANCELLATION POLICY: $75 non-refundable fee if examinee cancels registration for TUDCW written exam.
