Description
This is a recorded webinar from June 3.
Building officials and contractors want to avoid damage to hardened concrete placed during hot weather conditions. Accelerated set time and strength gain can adversely affect hardened concrete if not addressed by properly adjusting the mix design as well as timely and appropriate curing. This webinar will discuss the current state-of-the-art developments regarding hot weather concrete, the impact of new materials and construction practices on the risk of damage from hot weather. Codes addressed will include the International Building Code (IBC), International Residential Code (IRC), ACI 318 Building Code Requirements for Structural Concrete, and ACI 332 Residential Code Requirements for Structural Concrete.
