Description

This is a recorded webinar from September 11, 2018.

Un-shored composite slabs on metal deck are commonly used in multistory floor construction. Deflections of these constructed floors can cause serviceability issues relating to providing level finished floor elevations. Design engineers often require cambers for some support beams to offset deflection and to improve levelness of the deflected composite floor slab. This webinar will discuss the challenges that contractors incur in placing these composite floor slabs and dealing with the combination of cambered and uncambered beams to produce level floors.
