Description

Since its inception in 2004, the ACI Residential Concrete Code has been geared toward efficient and appropriate requirements for residential applications. It addresses provisions not emphasized by other standards. Though it began with a focus on footings, foundation walls, and slabs-on-ground, it has continually evolved to include additional structural members. It maintains prescriptive design tables for the most common members and has now added a design chapter to meet the demands of the market for structures typical for residential applications.
