Abstract:
Presents a part of the results obtained from an investigation of the durability of concrete, by the Public Roads Administration using blends of portland cements with natural cements (86 percent and I4 percent by weight, respectively) and Vinsol resin treated cements. Results presented in this contrlbution have a bearing on resistance to freezing and thawing tests, especially because of unusual results of a prolonged interruption of the daily freezing and thawing cycle.
