Abstract:
Actual experiences in usina vibration in placing mass concrete and concrete in thin sections during Mississippi lock and dam River, are aiven. construction on the Observations indicate that physical characteristics of the mix effect time of vibration, type and handling of vibrators. Supplemental hand spading after vibration, given a plastic mix, tended to minimize and disperse the surface air bubbles.
