Abstract:
Presents a method for designing continuous arched frames and offers tables for use with the most commonly used loadings, and frame shapes. The method will allow design of these frames, which normally require the simultaneous solu-tion of a number of equations, without great effort. An appendix provides the mathematical derivation of the formulas offered.
