Abstract:In this research, an investigation was made of the effect of repeated loading on the variability of fatigue life of 90 pretensioned concrete beams. A regression analysis of the fatigue data led to a linear relationship between the variables of N,, predicted fatigue life, and R, load level. This equation was used to develop a relationship between N,, R, and P, probability of fatigue failure, expressed in the form of the cumulative normal distribution function.
