Abstract:
Presents an analysis of a structural system consisting of a circular concrete ring-beam supported, on 4, 6, 8, IO, or I2 equally spaced concrete columns and forming an independent support for a storage silo steel hopper. Based on this analysis, design stress formulas and tables are provided . A numerical example illustrates the use of the formulas and tables.
