Abstract:
Reports measurements of floor flatness and spacing between column lines, providing realistically obtainable tolerances for concrete surfaces through high quality construction. Tolerances found much larger than specified or expected and point up industry problem. Neither designer nor constructor knows what tolerances are reasonable, or those which will provide a satisfactory building.
