Abstract:
Ductility required of eccentrically loaded reinforced concrete column sections in seismic design is subject; method for determination of amount of special trans- verse steel required for ductility suggested, based on theoretical study using stress-strain curves for concrete confined by retangular hoops and for steel including strain hardening.
