Abstract:
The results of tests on concrete in in-situ or precast elements are only of value if they contribute to the making of valid and useful conclusions relating either to the quality of the concrete mix supplied or to the performance of the structure in service. The paper indicates how these objectives might be achieved by expressing the strength of the concrete in the structure in terms of an in-situ cube strength.
