Abstract:
The nine programs in this book are spreadsheet templates for designing masonry structures, calculating wind forces, proportioning concrete mixtures, estimating concrete costs, designing prestressed beams for flexure and shear, designing prestressed bridge girders, evaluating cylinder strength test results, and calculating deflections in concrete members. All of the programs will run on IBM-compatible machines. The book is a comprehensive user's guide for the programs including example problems. Although not thoroughly tested software, these programs do show how others have developed spreadsheets to solve particular problems. Requires high-density disk drive. Runs on Lotus 1-2-3 and Quattro programs.
