Abstract: Note: A newer version of this document exists. This document was replaced by 523.1R-06. This guide provides information on materials, properties, design, and proper handling of cast-in-place concretes having oven-dry unit weights of 50 pcf or less. Such concretes achieve their low weight by the use of low density mineral aggregates or foam and are used to a large extent in roof deck systems.
