Abstract:
This study explores the effect of setting regulators in cement on the properties of cement paste with the alkali-free liquid accelerator. Setting times, compressive strength, and hydration heat emission of accelerated cement paste with different kinds and dosages of setting regulators were measured. The results show that the setting time of cement paste mixed with alkali-free accelerator was shortened with the increase of the dosage of the setting regulator in cement, and the effect of the alkali-free accelerator on the cement paste containing hemihydrate gypsum is the best. The 1d compressive strength of cement mortar mixed with alkali-free accelerator increased with the increase of the dosage of the setting regulator in the cement. Hemihydrate gypsum is more favorable to the 1d compressive strength of cement mortar, and the dihydrate gypsum is more favorable to the compressive strength of 28d.
