Abstract:
The ability to produce high-modulus concrete is only as good as the laboratory that ends up testing it. Mr. Flood will present on proper modulus testing as well as show the data resulting from thousands of tests performed as standard site testing for several projects in Chicago. The data leads to some empirical conclusions regarding an upper limit for modulus mixtures. The results of a large-scale ASTM round robin for modulus of Elasticity are also presented.
